We Love Our Troops

We never send support with an expectation of hearing back from those deployed. We do enjoy hearing back and free mail (deployed military don't pay for postage sending mail stateside) in our mail box or an email always makes us smile.

Hi, I just received the care packages that you sent. I just wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU! It's a wonderful feeling that so many people back home support us,and are willing to take the time to reach out to people that they have never met. Once again, thank you so much. GySgt David W.

Your mission directly affects our mission in a very positive way. To be 8,000 miles away from friends and family with no way of communication with them for months at a time is hard enough, and then out of the blue, unexpectedly Soldiers receive  care packages from people they’ve never met. Knowing that there are people and organizations out there who dedicate their time and resources to make sure we as Soldiers are taken care of reminds us why we’re doing what we’re doing in the first place.

Receiving letters from the community and pictures from kids thanking us for our service is something very special that helps us get by from day to day. It never matters what’s in the box, it’s the pure thought that others back home appreciate our sacrifice and are willing to give back and sacrifice their efforts themselves.

It’s always great to receive packages during deployment. The fact that there are people out there who don’t even know us, sending us things from needed supplies to cookies and candy is a definite moral booster for all. There are sometimes those soldiers you come across who doesn’t really have any family, or anyone that sends them packages. Probably one of the best things is to take a package I’ve received and give that to another soldier who needs it more. During deployments with high mission tempo, it is very easy to get drug down and worn out. You learn that it’s the little things in life that can help lift you up a little. Receiving care packages from great supportive people back home is always a sure pick me up.

I want to thank those people who volunteer their time and own personal funds to take care of our deployed soldiers.

Being deployed is tough being away from family and friends but having Christina and her teams support has been so amazing while I was overseas. If we needed ANYTHING she would literally go get it that day then send it out the following. She was so sweet and thoughtful and always was asking “what do you guys need?” I can’t thank her and her team enough for the endless support and thoughtfulness that they gave to myself, my fellow soldiers and our military working dogs

Christina you saved me in so many ways. I received packages from you when I was deployed to Afghanistan and when I was at home in garrison. You sent me everything I needed plus a lot more . You sent me expensive under armour shirts and socks that I still ware today and I will never forget when you sent me my tens unit and gave me contact info for good doctors. That tens unit really helped me when I was in a really hard place and time in my life. Not to mention you have always kept in touch and really showed you care over the years. You are truly my soldiers Angel thank you so much for everything!

Christina and her beautiful family were supporting me through each of my three deployments as a young Infantryman in the United States Army. Christina selflessly and eagerly provided her moral, personal and own financial support to keep a smile on my face solely because it was in her enormous, caring heart to do so. Even after the military, Christina, her family and I, have grown closer together and share a personal bond that will last a lifetime. No words found in any language will be able to express to you the appreciation in my heart for Christina; as she is a major reason to why many of our men and women serving overseas will never be forgotten by the American people.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support you provide for our deployed troops. Both my daughter Denise and my son in law Earl really appreciated the care packages you sent them while they were deployed in Afghanistan. Both your care package program and bike ride provide a great deal of support and solace to our troops. I hope one day soon to be able to come up and visit you to thank you in person. You are a true American Patriot, may God Bless you and your family.

Thanks and Love,

I hope your support for the troops is as strong as ever. I'll never forget the countless packages I received when I was in Afghanistan from you and the supporters around you. If there is ever anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to reach out. You truly are an amazing woman with a wonderful heart.

I am writing to you to say thank you for the care packages you sent.  My Airmen and I thoroughly enjoyed them.  Especially since we all just returned from austere conditions.
I hope the cold Michigan winter weather is treating you kindly.  I certainty don't miss Michigan winters.

Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Thomas  B.
